ROLE: ART DIRECTOR

Vintage shoppers love the thrill of looking for that hidden gem. For this DTC adidas Originals campaign we have used this energy as the bases of our creative approach for this eight pack vintage-inspired adidas Originals trainers.

ART DIRECTION

To create the feeling of a flea market stand and give context to the shoe’s backstory, the shoes were surrounded by objects that are from the same era as the original shoe.

We have also added hints of materials and colors that reflect the iconic colorways and repurposed materials of the reimagined adidas shoe. Thus creating an authentic backdrop of the shoes’ vintage inspiration.

With warm lighting and a subtle haziness effect we’ve recreated that warmth you feel when in a vintage shop. To bring the feeling of the a-ha moment when you find the perfect piece, a soft spotlight was added to the shoes to guarantee they grab the consumer's attention amongst the vintage pieces.
